Jeffrey L. Diamond is AV peer review
rated by Martindale Hubbell. Mr. Diamond is a 1991 graduate
of the Baylor University School of Law and has been practicing law
since that time. He also received his Bachelor of Business
Administration from Baylor and has a triple major in Entrepreneurship,
Marketing, and Quantitative Business Analysis. Jeff is admitted
to practice in all Texas state courts and is licensed to practice
law in the United States District Court for the Northern, Western,
Southern, and Eastern Districts of Texas, the 5th Circuit Court
of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
Since receiving his Juris Doctorate, Jeff’s
practice has consisted of defending all types of personal injury
and breach of contract cases. Mr. Diamond’s practice
is diverse, and includes the following types of cases: automobile/trucking
accident; medical malpractice; construction litigation; commercial
litigation; premises liability; insurance defense (first and third
party); products liability; general liability; and employment related
litigation. The above categories include handling a large
number of cases before the Texas Workers Compensation Commission,
and the Department of Labor (Longshore and Harbor Workers Compensation
Act). Additionally, Jeff has been lead defense counsel on
a number of high-profile, media intensive cases.
Jeff is routinely asked to speak by national organizations that cater to the legal market, and has spoken on the following subjects: UM/UIM claims; premises liability; products liability; Bad Faith and Extra-contractual claims; construction litigation; trucking and accident reconstruction; Workers Compensation claims (all aspects); and FMLA. Jeff is also a Licensed Insurance Adjuster and a Qualified Mediator.
