Carla Bennett is a senior associate with the firm. She is a graduate of South Texas College of Law. She was an Article Editor of South Texas Law Journal and obtained the Judge John R. Brown Award. Carla has been practicing law for 22 years. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Honors Economics, graduating first in her Major and overall Magna Cum Laude from Southeastern Massachusetts University. Carla is admitted to practice in all the Texas state courts and is licensed to practice in Southern, Eastern, Western and Northern Districts of Texas, as well as the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Carla is an experienced trial and appellate attorney. She has handled a wide variety of cases, including tort litigation, automobile/trucking accident litigation, construction litigation, premises liability, insurance defense, products liability, general liability. Carla has also handled contractual liability litigation, bad faith litigation, complex commercial business litigation cases, medical malpractice defense, and mass tort litigation. She has both first and second chair trial experience. Carla also has extensive appellate litigation experience, handling over 70 appellate cases.
Carla also is an active volunteer in rescuing and saving animals. |
